3、1. compare to 表示“把……比作……”“比喻為…”、“比擬”，是指出兩者之間的關(guān)系或相似。

4、例如： 1). We often compare a teacher to a candle． 我們常把老師比喻成蠟燭。

5、 2).Chinese people compare MZD to the sun. 中國人把MZD比作太陽。

6、 3).Poets have compared sleep to death. 詩人將睡眠比作死。

8、 2. compare with則表示“把…和…相比”，“比較”，是指研究評判人與人之間、事物與事物之間相同或相異的程度。

10、 2). He compared his camera with mine. 他把他的照相機(jī)跟我的比較。

11、 3). The boy always compared his toys with other boys’toys.這男孩總把他的玩具和其它男孩的玩具相比較。

12、 4).Compared with other years, we received many more photos. 與往年相比，我們收到了更多照片。

13、5). Compared with silk, cotton is cheap. 和絲綢相比，棉花更便宜。
